When I just gave birth I really wasn't sure how I was going to sleep near my infant. We knew that wasn't a good idea to keep our baby in the same bed as us however we really didn't want to put her in another room so far away during the evening.
The dilemma was a great one however we came upon the perfect solution. One of our friends told us about this great new design called the cosleeper bassinet which allows you to but the bassinet right up against the bed so you are directly next to your baby all throughout the night.
This turned out to be an amazing thing because while you're breast-feeding you can simply grab your child from right next to your bed and don't even have to get out of bed. I can't tell you how convenient this was because our daughter really cried throughout the night. I'm not talking about an hour here and there but I'm talking about every 45 minutes throughout the night. As you can imagine we were incredibly tired while we went through this process however the cosleeper bassinet made it much much easier.
As a mother of two I can highly recommend a cosleeper bassinet for you if you are due to have a baby soon. it will make all the difference in the world and you will never feel closer to your infant than you do for the first couple of months!
